Soul In The South

Last Tuesday, Some of us went to Kluang to join the people and the event. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything, my thought was just to go there and help out and my job was done, but I was wrong. Instead, in the 1st session I felt God's presence really strong already and the worship in music was very good also.

This was my first time to Kluang, I was amazed that there were so many young great passionate people in that small town alone, they were all energetic and ready to serve God. The Soul Survivor UK team was there too, Mike's sharing was really something good, so suitable. Basically, he shared that God looks in the inside and not the outside, I find that so good for me and the other youths.

The next day, everyone went to Eden Community Centre, its a place where they educate people. Our objective was to give back what the community has done. So we painted the 1st floor and cleaned up the outside compound. I don't know about everyone else, but I was worked out at the end already. The painting was quite tiring though. I saw an example of Jesus when everyone was working together, fellowshiping, helping one another when they needed help, laughing and more... I mean everyone was enjoying themself and me too.

The next session, God was really beggining to work inside me, and what an encounter I had with him, it was a father and son meeting. I love it!

At the end, the trip was so much more, it was such a blessing and experience for me. I learned a lot too like their culture, food=) and got to know a lot of great people.
